BAPTISM

Your child is precious to you and precious to God. You want the very best for them, and so does God. You want them to make the right choices in life, for themselves and for others.

During a baptism your child will be baptised with water. It’s the start of an amazing journey of faith for your child and a special day for all your friends and family.

Anyone can get in touch with a church to find about having their child baptised.

Baptisms can take place during the Sunday service, so that the whole congregation can offer a warm welcome to you and your family.

To have a service at a different time, most usually on a Sunday, contact the vicar and for advice about what is possible here.

MARRIAGE

Churches are special and unique places to get married in, the prayers and promises you make in front of family, friends and God make the whole service of celebration a meaningful and special part of your marriage, on the day itself and throughout your lives.

This 13th Century church set in the beautiful country surroundings of a local manor estate makes a wonderful venue for a your wedding ceremony.

Our experienced organist can provide music and hymns of your choice or we have a modern sound system if you prefer your own music.

FUNERAL

A church will always be there to help you through one of life’s most difficult times.

A Church of England led funeral is available to everyone, giving support before, during and after the service for as long as it’s needed.

Remember you don’t have to be religious or a churchgoer to have a Church of England funeral – it is open to all.

Please contact the vicar if you need support at this difficult time.
